More populated, St. Thomas USVI is the home to Charlotte Amalie, the capital of the U.S. Virgin Islands. Formerly a trade port, downtown St. Thomas Virgin Islands is a bustling city with restaurants, nightlife, duty-free shops, and hotels. The large cruise ships dock in the harbor daily as well.
Magens Bay is considered one of the best beaches in the world. The beach is in the shape of a horseshoe, surrounded by fancy villas and palm groves. It's the only known beach that charges admission ($3.00 per person). Mahogany Run is the only 18 - hole golf course on St. Thomas. It is located on the north coast of the island.
